Byblos bookstore recommends books for the Diocese of Mende in October

The Byblos bookstore, located at the diocesan house, has released its monthly selection of books for October. These recommendations often relate to religious news within the diocese and are shared weekly on social media and through the Lozère Nouvelle religion page.

The selection includes a book from Éditions du Cerf priced at 25 euros that examines the history of women in the Church. The work follows various vocations, including martyrs, mystics, and reformers, to provide a different perspective on the role of women in religious history.

The bookstore also highlights items related to the annual pilgrimage to the hermitage of Sainte Enimie, which took place on October 4. This includes votive candles featuring the image of the saint. Those interested in these titles can contact the Byblos bookstore at the Maison Diocésaine via email.
