Bishops from the Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the European Union (COMECE) sent a telegram to Pope Leo XIV wishing him a speedy recovery following surgery.

The bishops sent the message during their autumn assembly held in Brussels from October 14 to 16. They delivered the telegram through Bishop Bernardito Cleopas Auza, the Apostolic Nuncio to the European Union, who attended the assembly.

In the message, the bishops expressed their concern and stated they would continue to pray for the Pope to resume his mission with renewed energy.
