Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Pope Leo XIV visited the UNESCO headquarters on September 25 during the first day of his apostolic journey to France. This visit marks the first time a pope has visited the organization in 46 years, following the previous visit by St. John Paul II.

The pope called for education, science, and culture to serve human dignity, truth, and peace. He stated that peace cannot be achieved through treaties alone and requires prayer.
