Pope Leo proposes corrections to French Revolution terms

First source report

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Pope Leo XIV proposed corrections to the French Revolution terms of liberty, equality, and fraternity during a reception by French President Emmanuel Macron. According to Robert Royal of The Catholic Thing, the Pope shared these proposals in a message read during the meeting.

The proposal follows a visit by the Pope to France that drew large crowds. Royal notes that the suggestions regarding the three revolutionary terms come amid widespread rioting and arson in France, which he describes as a far-left operation involving Islamist collaborators rather than student unrest.
