The Archbishop of Oviedo presented his new book in Gijón

The Archbishop of Oviedo, Jesús Sanz, presented his book, The Breeze of Prevost, at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Gijón on Thursday, October 29. The book provides a daily chronicle of Pope Leo XIV's visit to Spain in May.

In the volume, Archbishop Sanz analyzes the speeches, gestures, and words of the Pope, while recording his own impressions and the reactions observed during the trip. Archbishop Luis Argüello, the Archbishop of Madrid and President of the Spanish Episcopal Conference, wrote the prologue for the book.

The presentation began with a prayer for the victims of a recent serious train accident. The prayer asked for the eternal rest of those who died and for the recovery of the injured, as well as for their families, medical staff, and psychologists.
