Prière du Saint-Père à la Grotte des apparitions à Lourdes

Pope Leo XIV prayed at the Grotto of Massabielle in Lourdes on Saturday, September 26. During his visit to the site where the Virgin Mary appeared to Saint Bernadette, the pope offered a prayer to Our Lady of Lourdes to ask for peace and unity.

The Archdiocese of Bordeaux reported that the pope asked for fraternal concord to help build a harmonious society free from violence and hatred. He also prayed for the protection of the poor and vulnerable, asking that they receive constant support.

In his prayer, the pope requested wise and generous leaders who serve the common good and face challenges with self-sacrifice. He further asked for leaders who promote fundamental human rights and global peace.
