The Catholic Church in Belgium has published its ninth annual report covering the year 2025

The report provides quantitative and qualitative data regarding the life of the Church and its related organizations. While overall figures show a decline, the document highlights various services and engagements within the Church.

The Conference of Bishops of Belgium states the report focuses on how the Gospel is proclaimed in a secular and pluralistic society and on initiatives to promote peace. The Church addresses the challenge of evangelization through solidarity, interreligious dialogue, and participation in ethical and social debates.

Regarding peace, the report notes that the Church views peace as a result of justice and charity rather than just the absence of war. The document details a network of initiatives in Belgium intended to raise public awareness of these values in response to armed conflicts near the country and continent.
