Sisters of Nazareth host annual Halloween event
First source report
The Sisters of Nazareth hosted their annual trick-or-treat event on Thursday, Oct. 22, welcoming approximately 1,500 visitors to the Motherhouse grounds.
This year's gathering included a partnership with Nelson County Schools through their GlowUP celebration. Local students displayed pumpkins that they had carved, painted, or decorated. High school students prepared their pumpkins on the Nazareth campus the day before the event, while younger students brought creations made at their schools.
Sisters, associates, employees, volunteers, community partners, and Nazareth Village residents distributed candy and treats at various booths across the campus. The event serves as a way for neighbors to connect with the Nazareth community.
