St. Vincent de Paul NKY breaks ground on more than a building, preparing to serve the community in a new way

St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky broke ground on its new headquarters to expand services for the local community. The project, funded by the Hands of Hope Capital Campaign, will be located one mile from the organization's current Crescent Springs store.

The new 40,000 square foot facility will include an expanded food pantry, a teaching kitchen, a chapel, community spaces, and larger retail and warehouse areas. Dawn Groneck, chair of the St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky board, said the new spaces are designed to meet the growing needs of those the organization serves.

HCG Construction of the Huseman Group will complete the building, which was designed by GBBN architects. Adam Kuehne, chief operating officer of the Huseman Group, noted that site work is nearly finished and building pads are ready for the foundation phase.
