Diocese of Pueblo reflects on FDLC National Meeting

Father Michael Chrisman shared reflections on the FDLC National Meeting to help parishioners and ministers understand the importance of liturgical preparation.

Chrisman noted that prayerful preparation assists lectors in proclaiming scripture clearly. He described how the sung psalm provides a way for the faithful to answer God and how silence helps the Word take root in the community. According to Chrisman, the liturgy of the Word prepares people to receive Christ at the Eucharistic table and to share his love with the world.
