Tông du Pháp (28.09) – Đức Thánh Cha Lêô XIV: Viện dẫn danh Chúa để biện minh cho bạo lực là xúc phạm đến Chúa

Pope Leo XIV told religious leaders during an interreligious meeting in Metz on September 28, 2026, that using the name of God to justify violence is an offense to the Lord. Speaking at the Robert Schuman Conference Center, the Pope urged representatives of different faiths to turn their differences into opportunities for meeting and to build friendship and peace. He also stated that religions have a mission to protect human dignity and life.

The Pope attended a meeting titled "Return to the Roots of Europe for Peace and Unity" and celebrated Mass at Saint Stephen Cathedral before returning to Rome.
