Vincentian community celebrates founder
First source report
The Divine Retreat Centre in Somersby held a celebration last month for the feast of Saint Vincent de Paul. The event included the recitation of the Holy Rosary, Holy Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, and periods of praise and worship.
Fr David Ranson, the Diocesan Administrator of the Diocese of Broken Bay, attended the gathering alongside Centre Director Fr Sam Samuel VC and Assistant Director Fr Juby Varghese VC. Fr Sam and Fr Juby are Vincentian Missionaries.
During the celebration, priests offered reflections encouraging the community to deepen their relationship with Christ and live out the Gospel in their daily lives. Fr Sam noted that the presence of Fr David added significance to the day honoring Saint Vincent de Paul, whom he described as a witness of love through service to those in need.
