Bishop Alfonso Raimo presides over All Saints Mass at Terni Cemetery

Bishop Alfonso Raimo presided over a Mass at the Terni Cemetery on November 1 to mark the feast of All Saints and the commemoration of the dead.

The celebration took place at the cross in the center of the cemetery paths. Vicar General Matteo Antonelli and local priests concelebrated the Mass. Following the liturgy, the bishop blessed graves in several areas of the old cemetery, including the ossuary and the graves of the Salesians.

During the Mass, Bishop Raimo spoke about the meaning of the cemetery as a place of sleep that points toward eternal life. He noted that the feast of All Saints invites the faithful to recognize a destiny that extends beyond earth.
