Cardinal Fernando Chomali's collection of antique telephones and lenses opens in Valparaíso

Cardinal Fernando Chomali will present a collection of antique telephones and lenses at an exhibition titled "Es hora de hablar de encuentro" in Valparaíso. The exhibition is held at Destino Valparaíso in Cerro Concepción and remains open until December 5.

The official inauguration is scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, at 19:00. The event will include a lecture by Cardinal Chomali, which requires prior registration.

The exhibition, developed by Efecto Bisagra, uses these objects to prompt reflection on how people communicate and listen to one another in an era of instant messaging and artificial intelligence. Cardinal Chomali stated that the collection aims to use the beauty of these objects to rediscover the stories and conversations that once shaped human lives.
