Diocese of Acireale to host two-day study on Christian art in Sicily

The Diocese of Acireale will host a two-day study on Christian art in Sicily on November 6 and 7. Scholars and experts will meet at the Basilica Maria SS. Annunziata to examine the region's artistic heritage, with a specific focus on the cathedral.

Don Antonio Agostini, director of the Diocesan Museum, said the event serves to deepen the understanding of local history and promote the preservation of the diocese's inherited patrimony. Registration for the study is available online through the diocesan website.
