Parish Caritas representatives will meet in Mirano for a diocesan assembly on November 7

The Diocese of Treviso will hold its annual assembly for parish Caritas representatives on Saturday, November 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the San Pio X patronato in Mirano. The meeting focuses on the life of Monsignor Giovanni Nervo, the founder of Caritas Italiana.

Bishop Michele, sociologist Tiziano Vecchiato, and Caritas Italiana trainer Francesca Levroni will speak at the event. According to Caritas Treviso director Father Bruno Baratto, the assembly will address modern challenges such as teaching communities about charity, promoting social justice, and witnessing the Gospel through truth and action.

The program includes a memorial for Monsignor Fernando Pavanello on the 10th anniversary of his death and a visit to an exhibition about Monsignor Nervo organized by Caritas Italiana. No registration is required for the representatives and collaborators attending the assembly.
