Diocese of Jaén to host II PEJ SUR 2026

Young people from the southern dioceses of Andalusia and Murcia will gather for a pilgrimage and meeting at the Sanctuary-Basilica of the Virgin of the Cabeza from November 6 to 8, 2026. Organized by the youth delegations of the participating dioceses, the event follows a previous edition held in Caravaca de la Cruz.

The Diocese of Jaén is hosting this gathering during the Jubilee Year of the Virgin of the Cabeza, which marks the 800th anniversary of the appearance of the Virgin, the patron saint of the Diocese of Jaén.

The event is open to people between the ages of 16 and 35, including members of parish groups, university ministries, ecclesial movements, associations, and educational communities. Priests, religious brothers and sisters, seminarians, and youth pastoral workers are also invited to participate.
