The Priestly House in Castellón provides housing and care for diocesan priests

The Casa Sacerdotal Familia de Nazaret in Castellón serves as a home for priests who require care, accompaniment, or fraternity after years of service to the Church. Bishop Casimiro Lopez Llorente of Segorbe-Castellón blessed and inaugurated the diocesan institution in June 2013.

Director Juan Vicente Vaquerizo stated that the facility functions as a family home rather than a residence. While it primarily supports elderly priests, the house also provides temporary lodging for active priests who are convalescing, resting, or staying in the area while their parishes undergo renovations.

The house currently accommodates nine priests over the age of 75 and three younger priests. Residents have varying needs, including medical attention, mobility assistance, or social accompaniment. Vaquerizo noted that some residents served in village parishes for 40 or 50 years and require support to avoid isolation.
