Bishop René Leigue confirmed 18 adults at Our Lady of the Rosary Parish in Warnes

Bishop René Leigue, Archbishop of Santa Cruz, administered the sacrament of Confirmation to 18 adults on Friday, October 23, at Our Lady of the Rosary Parish in the municipality of Warnes.

During his homily, Bishop Leigue stated that Confirmation strengthens the grace received at Baptism through the gift of the Holy Spirit. He told the recipients that the sacrament calls them to deepen their relationship with God, mature in faith, and participate more consciously in the Church's mission of evangelization.

Father Federico Rapu, the parish priest of Our Lady of the Rosary, concelebrated the Mass. He noted that Confirmation does not end Christian formation but serves as an invitation to persevere in the Word of God and demonstrate the Gospel through works to help build a more fraternal society.
