Holiness is a call for all baptized people to live in friendship with God

The Diocese of Segorbe-Castellón de la Plana issued a message to its diocesans on the Solemnity of All Saints regarding the vocation to holiness. The diocese stated that holiness is a gift from God that fulfills human aspirations for happiness and is not an ideal reserved for extraordinary people.

The message noted that while some saints are recognized for heroic service to the poor or in missions, others lived their faith through daily simplicity and fidelity. The diocese also recognized anonymous individuals who foster faith, hope, and charity within their families, parishes, and communities.
