The Vigil with Saint Therese expands with new spiritual activities

The Community of the Bienaventuranzas expanded the traditional prayer vigil with Saint Therese by adding various spiritual activities during the weekend of October 17. Held at the Carmen chapel in Benicàssim, the event included sessions led by Jo Croissant.

During the first day, Croissant spoke about the beginnings of this ecclesial family of consecrated life following the Second Vatican Council. She also presented her work on the specific vocation of women, a topic featured in a book she gave to Pope John Paul II. On Sunday, following Mass, the program addressed the body as a temple of the Holy Spirit and concluded with prayer involving traditional Jewish dances led by Father Joseph Karam.

The vigil involves participants writing prayer intentions in letters to the co-patroness of the missions. Registration has also opened for a retreat with Father Jacques Philippe, scheduled for November 27 to 30 at the Desierto de las Palmas spirituality house.
