Pope Leo XIV sets prayer intention for November 2026

First source report

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Pope Leo XIV has announced his prayer intention for November 2026, asking for the good use of wealth. He requested that people pray so that wealth serves the common good and promotes solidarity with those who have less, rather than yielding to selfishness.

In previous statements regarding economic inequality, the Pope noted that hundreds of millions of people live in extreme poverty while disproportionate wealth remains held by a few. He stated in April 2026 that inequality stems from the need for more just distribution through moral and honest means rather than a lack of resources.
