Pope Leo XIV to visit Uruguay

First source report

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Pope Leo XIV will visit Uruguay this November, with organizers expanding capacity for several events due to high demand for free tickets.

Tickets for the prayer vigil scheduled for Saturday, November 7, at the Centenario Stadium in Montevideo sold out within three hours. To accommodate more people, organizers will set up a large screen and amplification system outside the stadium so the public can watch the encounter.

In Florida, the initial tickets for the Mass on Sunday, November 8, are also sold out. Organizers have expanded the public area around Plaza Asamblea to allow for 6,000 additional people. New free tickets for this location are now available.

Tickets for the Mass on Saturday, November 7, in Paysandú at Parque París Londres remain available. During his arrival in Montevideo on Friday, November 6, the public may follow the Pope through the city, specifically near Plaza Independencia and Plaza Matriz. All tickets are free, personal, and must be requested through the official website.
