Pope Leo XIV visits Spain

The Archbishop of Oviedo, Jesús Sanz, presented his new book, "The Breeze of Prevost," at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Gijón on Thursday, 29 October.

The book provides a daily chronicle of Pope Leo XIV's visit to Spain in May. Archbishop Sanz analyzes the speeches, gestures, and words of the Pope, while recording his own impressions and the public reactions observed during the trip. Luis Argüello, the Archbishop of Madrid and President of the Spanish Episcopal Conference, wrote the prologue for the volume.

The presentation began with a prayer for those affected by a recent serious train accident. The prayer asked for the eternal rest of the deceased and the recovery of the injured, as well as support for their families, medical staff, and psychologists.
