First snow falls in Abetone and Secchieta

The first snow of the season has fallen in parts of Tuscany, including Abetone and the Secchieta area between Valdarno and Pratomagno. According to Toscana Oggi, the snowfall occurred following a sharp drop in temperature and strong northeast winds.

The snow appeared as a light dusting without significant accumulation. While some areas in the Casentino region also saw flakes, the weather later transitioned to clearer skies and pale sunlight. This change marks the end of a period of mild temperatures that lasted through most of October.
