Tanzania’s Mbulu Catholic Diocese Launches Prayer Ahead of 75th Anniversary in 2028

Bishop Anthony Gaspar Lagwen introduced a new prayer for the Diocese of Mbulu in Tanzania to prepare for the diocese's 75th anniversary in March 2028. He launched the prayer during a Harvest thanksgiving Mass at St. Peter and Paul Mbugwe Parish on Wednesday, October 28.

The prayer is intended for use in parishes, outstations, Small Christian Communities, and families. Under the theme "Unity in Faith and New Hope," the text thanks God for the growth of the local Church, including the increasing number of faithful, clergy, religious men and women, and catechists. It also asks for the strengthening of the Church's mission and the renewal of the faithful.
