The Diocese of Montevideo reported that people across Uruguay reached a goal of 3.5 million Hail Mary prayers for Pope Leo XIV. Participants recorded their prayers on the official website to support the campaign "Uruguay prays for Leo XIV." These prayers were offered by families, parishes, and communities to prepare for the Pope's visit to the country, scheduled for November 6 to 8.

The community will gather to pray the Rosary on Saturday, October 31, at 9:00 a.m. at the Rambla de la Aduana de Oribe in Montevideo. This meeting is intended to pray for the health of Pope Leo XIV and the upcoming visit. The event is open to all people.
