Diocese of Salamanca to hold diocesan youth day on November 21

First source report

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

The Diocese of Salamanca will hold a diocesan youth day for adolescents and young people aged 14 and older on Saturday, November 21. The event begins at 17:30 at the entrance to the Huerto de Calixto y Melibea, where participants will start a recorrido by teams.

The gathering is part of the World Youth Day celebrations in local churches. While the liturgical feast of Christ the King falls on Sunday, November 22, the diocese scheduled its youth event for the preceding Saturday.

The day connects young people with the Camino de Santiago and the 2027 Peregrinación Europea de Jóvenes in Santiago de Compostela. Organizers intend for the activities to encourage interest in participating in that pilgrimage.
