All'UNESCO Papa Leone XIV richiama a riflettere sulla "immensa dignità di ogni persona"

Pope Leo XIV met with Khaled Ahmed El-Enany Ali Ezz at the UNESCO headquarters to discuss how languages and cultures cooperate on projects involving the entire human family. He stated that building a just world serves as the foundation for international cooperation.

The Pope noted that 2027 will mark the 75th anniversary of the Holy See's presence at UNESCO. He said this presence stems from the conviction that the future depends on respecting and promoting the inalienable dignity of every human being.

Pope Leo XIV suggested that promoting education, science, and culture is impossible without promoting the lives of men and women. He also referenced the Catholic Church's experience in education and asked what it means to be human in the 21st century.
