Antonia Salzano recalls Carlo Acutis' message on his 20th death anniversary

Antonia Salzano, the mother of Saint Carlo Acutis, shared her son's message that life is precious and should not be wasted on the 20th anniversary of his death. Speaking on the liturgical memorial of the young saint on October 12, Salzano noted that Carlo wanted to remind people of all ages that God waits for everyone and that life should be lived with eternity in mind.

Salzano described how Carlo lived a life similar to his peers but made it extraordinary by placing Christ at the center of his daily choices. She said he trusted the Church and the sacraments, participating in daily Mass, Eucharistic adoration, and the Rosary. Salzano also noted that the Virgin Mary was the most important woman in his life.
