Pope Leo XIV reviewed his recent apostolic journey to France during a general audience in St. Peter's Square on Wednesday, September 30. The Pope spoke about his travels from September 25 to 28, which included visits to Paris, UNESCO, Lourdes, and Metz.

During his catechesis, the Pope used the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral as a central theme to describe the trip. He stated that the cathedral represents the word rebirth and described seeing signs of a renaissance in France as a beautiful surprise from God.
