Vatican Surgery of Pope Leo XIV

Faithful pray for Pope Leo XIV

First source report

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Faithful gathered at St. Peter's Square on October 14 to pray for the health of Pope Leo XIV following his lung surgery. During a Mass presided over by Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, people from various countries, including Germany, the United States, Mexico, and India, expressed their hopes for the Pope's recovery.

The Mass concluded a meeting marking the tenth anniversary of the apostolic exhortation Amoris Laetitia. Those praying expressed the wish that the Pope can soon leave the Gemelli Hospital and return to his public meetings and liturgical celebrations.
