Pope Leo XIV completed his first visit to France, traveling through Paris, Saint-Denis, Lourdes, and Metz from September 25 to 28. The trip included 26 appointments, five public gatherings, and a visit to the UNESCO headquarters.

Large crowds attended several events throughout the trip. Approximately 800,000 people gathered for a Mass on September 26 at Place de la Concorde and the surrounding Champs-Élysées area. In Paris, about 300,000 people followed the pope's route from UNESCO to Notre-Dame. A Mass in Lourdes on September 27 drew approximately 150,000 faithful. Additionally, a youth vigil at the Stade de France reached capacity.
