First source report

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Pope Leo XIV prayed for world peace and the protection of human rights during a visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in France. While praying before the image of the patroness of France, the Pope asked for the rejection of the logic of war.

The Pope requested that people use their voices to defend fundamental human rights and promote global peace. He also prayed for the people of France to receive the gift of fraternal harmony and asked for the renewal of faith and fervor among Christian families. During his prayer at the grotto, he entrusted loved ones and the deceased to the Virgin Mary and asked for the removal of obstacles separating people from Jesus.
