Pope Leo XIV to preside over All Souls' Day Mass and other November liturgies

The Pontifical Liturgical Celebrations Department released a schedule of ceremonies for Pope Leo XIV to preside over during November and December. On November 2, the Pope will celebrate All Souls' Day Mass at the Verano Cemetery in Rome at 16h local time. He will also preside over a Mass at St. Peter's Basilica on November 5 for the souls of cardinals and bishops who died in the last 12 months.

The Pope is scheduled to travel to Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru from November 6 to November 17. This apostolic journey follows his recovery from surgery on October 13. Upon his return, he will preside over a Mass on November 18 to mark the 400 years of the dedication of St. Peter's Basilica. The schedule concludes on December 8 with the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, when the Pope will perform an act of veneration of the image of the Virgin Mary.
