The Pope celebrated Mass at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes on September 27, 2026. During his visit to the Prairie of the Shrine, he addressed pilgrims from France and around the world.

In his homily, he told pilgrims to bring the comfort of Lourdes to their neighbors, loved ones, and the French people. He noted that the Sunday liturgy reflects the message Mary shared with Saint Bernadette, which is an invitation to conversion.
