Priest and illustrator release comic about Pope Leo XIV's visit to Spain

First source report

Catholic Intelligence1 min read

Priest Pedro de la Herrán and illustrator Carlos Calderón have released a comic book documenting Pope Leo XIV's trip to Spain. Published by Ediciones DYA, the work uses artificial intelligence generated images to illustrate the primary messages the Pope delivered during his visit.

The creators intend for the comic to serve as a lasting resource that families can revisit to remember the papal visit. De la Herrán stated that the book aims to help readers deepen their connection to the visit and grow in love for the Pope and the Church.

The comic includes depictions of various moments from the trip, such as the Pope's meeting with the Church in Madrid at the Bernabéu stadium, his encounter with prisoners in Barcelona, and his meetings with vulnerable people in Canarias.
