Pope Leo XIV urges Christians to live in spirit of closeness and compassion in France

First source report

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Pope Leo XIV urged Christian communities in France to live with closeness and compassion toward the wounded and lonely.

The Pope's words serve as guidance for the entire Church to act as companions for those who are suffering or isolated. He advised that pastoral communities should not become enclaves that exist to protect themselves from the modern age, but should instead remain engaged with the present time.
