First source report

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Pope Leo XIV published his first encyclical, Magnifica Humanitas, which addresses artificial intelligence and its human, economic, and cultural consequences.

The document offers a Christian perspective on current technological revolutions and marks the beginning of the new pontificate's involvement in contemporary social debates, according to Aleteia. In response to the publication, small reading groups across Canada plan to meet this fall to study the encyclical.
