Bishop Galea-Curmi celebrates Mass at Imqabba parish

Bishop Joseph Galea-Curmi welcomed Father Martin Borg as the new parish priest of Imqabba during a Mass celebrated on the Solemnity of All Saints.

During his homily, Bishop Galea-Curmi noted that the celebration held special significance because the Imqabba parish is dedicated to Mary, Mother of Jesus and Mother of the Church. He welcomed Father Borg at the start of his ministry and prayed for him.

The bishop stated that the parish should be a community where people love, forgive, respect, and work together for the common good. He said that the pursuit of holiness is visible in how people speak to one another, how they handle disagreement, how they welcome those who are different, and how they seek reconciliation.
